We are planning the release of Second Life version 1.13.4 on Wednesday, March 14th 2007! Second Life will be unavailable from 6am to 12noon PDT (13:00-19:00 GMT) for the update. Please note the time change from 7am to 6am. We want to ensure a proper amount of internal testing time and so that the deploy doesn’t run longer than expected. No new client software will be required.

Just to recap: this is a SERVER ONLY UPDATE. There will be no new viewer required - the current viewers will work just fine. Updated viewers based on the First Look: Render Pipeline Improvements work will follow in a few days.

To the best of our abilities, the Beta Test Grid will remain up - we have no maintenance work planned that should take it offline, and it should be capable of handling many more simultaneous logins than last week.
