Password recovery system fixed, we hope.The password recovery system was apparently broken “in a recent release”. We’re not sure how recent, but we’ve been getting reports of problems with it for several weeks. Apparently the problem wasn’t just limited to lost and forgotten passwords, but seemed to affect brand new passwords for some accounts.

Linden Lab report that this issue is now fixed, as of 3:20pm SLT (US Pacific) today. If you’ve been stuck, unable to log into SL or the websites for the last few days or weeks, now might be the time to give the password recovery system another try.
